Jamie Varner set to face Kamal Shalorus on WEC 48

WEC 48 is going to be WEC’s first ever pay-per-view, fighters such as; Aldo, Faber, Henderson, Cerrone and Brown are set to fight in this event and now Varner will also, be participating in the already star studded event.

Varner, whoes five fight win streak was snapped by Ben Henderson also, resulting in Varner lossing his Lightweight belt, will try to rebound from that loss by beating 6-0 Shalorus.

Sharlorus is an Olympic wrestler, who made his debut into WEC by knocking out Kerr in 86 seconds, following that successful win he beat Jensen via unanimious decision. Sharlorus will try to continue his momentum heading into WEC 48.

    really hate Varner wanna see the cowboy get anther crack at him but i guess the wec does not want him 2 get 2 losses in a row so he remains relevant

    WEC actually has a lot of great fights. This is a stacked card that I’ll be watching.

    Sharlorus is nothing to sneeze at. Anyone who’s watched him knows the striker that he is. I’m very excited to see this match up.

    Shalorus trains here in Austin. I guess I’m biased on this one, but Varner did take that loss to Henderson like a complete douche bag. So I’ll be rooting for Kamal.

    I’m from Austin as well & thus my reason for siding with Kamal. But dang if his stand up isn’t something good.
