April 18’s upcoming UFC on FOX 15 event from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, promises to be heavily weighted card for the promotion’s stacked middleweight division.

In the main event, recent title contender Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida will take on rising No. 5 challenger Luke Rockhold, who’s rebounded effectively with three straight finish wins over Costa Philippou, Tim Boetsch, and finally Michael Bisping after losing his UFC debut to the now-infamous Vitor Belfort spinning head kick at UFC on FX 8.

The bout should potentially be for the next title shot, depending on how No. 1-ranked Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza does against dominant wrestler Yoel Romero in the card’s co-main event.

But Rockhold almost thought the bout had been cancelled due to a Machida injury when BJPenn.com (via MMA Mania) pulled off a hilarious April Fools’ prank on the contender with a fake article.
