UFC on FX 8 Post Fight Press Conference

UFC on FX 8 went down in Brazil last night, and it did not disappoint. The awesome card headlined by Vitor Belfort vs. Luke Rockhold was stacked with knockouts and submissions. What will probably stick in most peoples memories is the amazing spinning heel kick that clipped Rockhold’s jaw..

So what is next for ‘The Phenom’, or Rockhold? The former Strikeforce 185 king will have to consider his options after coming up short against the former 205lb. champ. Vitor needs another title shot, it is as simple as that. Check out the post fight presser and stay tuned to Lowkick!

There's going to be a lot of suspensions after this card! Even the guy running the press conference has a concussion. No one can remembers the event!

can you use trt in nfl

They have guidelines set up for TRT. There has to be a legitimate medical deficiency, you have to notify the commission and the UFC that you are using it, and your Testosterone levels can't exceed a 6 to 1 ratio, which is about the maximum that can be naturally achieved at the height of athleticism in the sport. Other sports have different ratios, and to my knowledge, as long as TRT is actually be used to correct a legit deficiency, it isn't banned in any sport.

Seriously, do a search in google for the words "TRT banned sports". There are pages and pages and pages of nothing except MMA sites. Nothing about football, nothing from baseball (despite its own past steroid scandals), nothing from boxing or kickboxing. Just pages and pages of MMA sites. Everyone else sees it as legit as long as its regulated. Why are we talking about it so much?

Sure, but just because other sports don't talk about it doesn't mean we shouldn't/it's not important and yes they test but depending on the testing fighters can work around it.

Great example would be Overeem having 7 times the test levels of a normal human being… It's not just people getting to a youthful level again, it's making them super-human and when you factor in that people's health is at risk, it's a big deal.

They can recover faster and train harder – it's unfair. Someone will probably mention other products that help to do that but what they fail to realise is the guys on TRT are using all the stuff TOO.

The ONLY way it's fair is if they're tested every week/other week like Overeem had to be tested before he fought and was eventually crushed by Silva.

ALSO: Rockhold said TRT didn't have anything to do with that kick: I disagree. The speed and power and the amount of times we was able to train it were directly effected by TRT.

Because our sport started with wondering who the best man on earth is at fighting with no help. It's a basic drive in males that we like to answer without complication and irregular influence. We don't want to know who can be the biggest freakshow, we want to know who is the best born fighter on the planet.
