UFC 173: Daniel Cormier vs. Dan Henderson Fight Video Highlights

Rising UFC light heavyweight contender Daniel Cormier scored what may have been his biggest MMA win with a one-sided destruction of former Pride and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson in the co-main event of last night’s (May 24, 2014) UFC 173 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Using his Olympic-level wrestling to slam the 199-pound Henderson with ease, “DC” showed us why he’s worthy of a title shot at the winner of the upcoming Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson rematch, which is tentatively slated for UFC 177 in late August.

My response to the take downs. "Oh, it looks like Dan defended… SLAM !!. Never mind…" "Surely Dan will defend this one…. (Cormier tosses Henderson through the air like a pizza dough.)"

I felt bad for Dan during the fight. We're seeing the end of a legend! However DC needs 1 more legit win IMO vs someone who isn't 43 and against a top 5 guy
This win isn't that impressive against an aging man not on TRT anymore

If he doesn't get Jones…then Johnson is the logical choice. The rest of the top are coming off a loss or injury (Evans, Davis, Rua, Glover etc)
