UFC 172 Weigh-Ins Results And Replay: Jones vs. Teixeira Is Official

UFC 172 is just one day away from going down in Baltimore, Maryland, so it must be weigh-ins day here at LowKick. Set to battle for the UFC light-heavyweight title are Glover Teixeira and Jon Jones, as ‘Bones’ looks to make his seventh straight defense of the belt, and Teixeira will look to make the upset as the 4-1 underdog.

Phil Davis and Anthony Johnson have unfinished business at 205 pounds, and will settle the score as the co-main event for the evening. Luke Rockhold will look to earn his second UFC win as he battles ‘Barbarian’ Tim Boetsch at middleweight, Jim Miller will take on lightweight replacement Yancy Medeiros, and Max Holloway vs. Andre Fili rounds off the card at featherweight.

Look for Takanori Gomi as he squares off against Isaac Vallie-Flagg, Danny Castillo reps Alpha Male against Charlie Brenneman, as does Joe Benavidez against Tim Elliott at flyweight. So join us here on LowKick.com at 4 PM ET for the official UFC 172 weigh-ins live stream.

Rumble better not let Jon Fitch Jr. beat him with his world famous SLOWWIND&GRIND technique.

I expect Rumble to come out and put a BEATING on Phil… I think Rumbles wrestling is being underestimated. He was always a really good wrestler, but having been with the Blackzillians for such a long time now and having Rashad as trainings partner (who completely dominated Phil last year). It's gonna be very interesting. Rashad knew all the tricks in the book to shut Phil's grappling offense down. He has the blueprint and no doubt, that he shared this knowledge with Rumble.

Rashad has the blueprint to beat Phil's grappling, but I seriously doubt Rumble has the skills to implement it. He's a good wrestler, but he's not on Phil or Rashad's level. His best shot to win is to land a bomb on while the fight is standing, and I don't see Phil allowing the fight to take place in that position for long.
