UFC Road To The Octagon: Gustafsson vs Johnson
UFC On FOX 14 goes down on Saturday January 24th 2015, and is headlined by a pivotal light-heavyweight collision. Former title challenger Alexander Gustafsson takes on hungry contender Anthony Johnson in the main event, with the enticing prospect of a title shot on the line for both warriors.
Down to the middleweight division, and ageing veteran Dan Henderson takes on crafty Strikeforce veteran Gegard Mousasi in the co-main event. Phil Davis and Ryan Bader will square off at 205 pounds, with both guys hoping to stake their claim in the top 10 of the division. A featherweight attraction between hometown fighter Akira Corassani and Sam Sicilia rounds off the main card.
The promotion’s return to Sweden could be a sweet or bitter one for the fans. “The Mauler” faces an extremely powerful and hungry contender in “Rumble”, as he’ll hope to bash Gus in front of his fans and family.
