UFC Fight Night 54: Raphael Assuncao vs Bryan Caraway Highlights
As the last fighter to defeat UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw, No. 4-ranked Raphael Assuncao saw a rematch for the title disappear when former champion Renan Barao was granted another shot at “The Viper” at UFC 177.
While Barao failed to make weight and had to withdraw, Assuncao was dealt another blow to his title shot hopes when former champion Dominick Cruz returned with a thunderous finish of Takeya Mizugaki at September 27’s UFC 178, earning the next shot at Dillashaw in the process.
Regardless, Assuncao took care of business at UFC Fight Night 54 from the Scotiabank Center in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, outclassing No. 10 Bryan Caraway with a ton of significant strikes to extend his win streak to seven. Watch the highlights of his victory courtesy of UFC on FOX below:
