Tonight’s (Fri., September 5, 2014) UFC Fight Night 50 is in the books from Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut, and the event delivered a night full of heavy-hitting finishes that made it hard for UFC officials to decide just whom was deserving of the $50,000 post-fight bonuses.

But they did, and UFC President Dana White revealed them at the UFC Fight Night 50 post-fight presser.

The first ,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus went to none other than Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, who submitted tough former Strikeforce champ Gegard Mousasi with a slick third round guillotine in the UFC Fight Night 50 main event.

Heavyweight Ben Rothwell took home the other one of the $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonuses for his first round knockout of former Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem. “Big Ben” nailed “The Reem” with a big right hand after breaking his arm absorbing a kick.

“Fight of the Night” was shared by none other than Joe Lauzon and Michael Chiesa, who opened the main card with a brutal back-and-forth war that ended when Lauzon opened an absolutely massive cut over Chiesa’s right eye from a huge knee. With the win, Lauzon scored his record-setting 13th post-fight bonus in the UFC, pushing him ahead of legendary former middleweight champion Andersen Silva.
