UFC 182: Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier Full Fight Video Highlights

Many believed that Daniel Cormier would be champion Jon Jones’ greatest challenge when the two enemies squared off in the main event of last night’s (Sat., January 3, 2015) UFC 182 pay-per-view (PPV) event from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After all, the undefeated Olympic wrestler presented a new challenge for “Bones,” one that was magnified by his seemingly genuine dislike for the confident young champion. When the pivotal title fight began, neither fighter wanted to feel the other out, instead choosing to begin unleashing big strikes from the opening bell.

For his part, Cormier provided an excellent test with his clinch work and dirty boxing, but in the end it was Jones who proved dominant in the wrestling and clinch, emulating “DC’s” style to perfection and beating him at his own game.

Jones said that he still has a ton of work to do and that we’ll see the best version of him in 2015, but he just may have taken the spot of the best MMA fighter of all-time last night.
