All this talk of Ronda Rousey breaking previous social barriers, while reaching levels of fame that no other fighter in mixed martial arts has ever attained, is really starting to become rather undeniable.

Never have I seen a fighter receive such a broad amount of exposure and spotlight in such lucrative well-known media outlets, magazines, talk shows, news reports and more.

And the result of this success and fame is what pretty much seems like an endless stream of videos featuring the womens Bantamweight champion in all types of scenarios discussing all types of topics with all different types of people and athletes.

This interview in particular, see’s her discussing fight preparation and mental state with boxing legend Mike Tyson. Even receiving some advice from the big man in the process, check it out.

I like Ronda, but she's acting like she could take on Tyson himself. I think when she falls it will be very hard.

Very True, she's quite cocky… Or should I say, ******-y?

No but seriously I agree, when she does lose, she seems like the yppe that will take it very hard and may even permanently shatter her confidence.

Some fighters are never the same once their streaks are over and they begin to feel mortal.

Yes, she is cocky.. and with good reason! As dominant as she is, with the record she has and that belt around her waist (and looking like she's gonna KEEP it there for a minute) she has a right to be cocky! I don't mind a fighter being cocky if they back those words up! She's a "fighter"… and a legit one at that!

It's that "****-i-ness" that gives her an advantage over all these other females! :-D

When the time comes and she loses… I don't think she will have a problem at all. If anything it will motivate her more and she'll make a GSP'like comeback….

Very likely! I was just speculating one possibility of many.

Only time will tell how she handles failure. Hopefully she comes back better like GSP. I'm still interested to see Jon fall for the first time as well. That kid needs to be humbled. Everyone does at some point.

I'm glad she's so cocky and with good reason. Or vagi-nae, as some would say… But c'mon, Tyson would rip her fvcking head off, so cut the oh-so-tough-b*tch act 'cause once you lose, that won't do you a bit of good. Know what I mean?

Something to keep in mind Bryan she lost before in her Judo career and that didnt stop her. Im going to guess that when she loses she has the support around her to bounce back.

I'm glad you brought up her Judo history and I honestly see her as the exact opposite, I think a loss would drive Rousey crazy and she'd obsess about fixing whatever aspect of her game cost her the fight.

As for Tyson v. Rousey. Scenario 1: Quick ko by tyson. Scenario 2: Rousey pulls guard, sweeps Tyson, moves to mount, arm bar!
