Rashad Evans explains why he’s fighting Lil’ Nog at UFC 156

Former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans, discussed his upcoming bout with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. This fight will have serious implications on Evans’ plans to make another title run in 2013, with sights on winning back the title he lost to Lyoto Machida back at UFC 98. Evans is still widely regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters on the planet, with a solid number of Top 10 victories at Light Heavyweight.

Title fight with Bones wont be any different from the last time. Unless his limbs grow longer.

If Rashad beats Lil Nog I'd like to see him vs either Shogun or loser of Henderson/Machida….maybe loser of Jones/Chael as well.

Too big names in the sport, but I'm not buzzing to see this fight. I don't know if this is the right fight for Rashad but there are not alot of top free guys available who are not already booked. Rashad has fought so many top guys…

A fight with Dan Heno , Glover, rematch with Machida. or wanderlie ,all booked guys. Gustaffson now eyeing a title shot.

I'm a big fan of Rashad's. He's an exciting fighter. He always brings it. He's the only man to survive 5 rounds with John Jones.

I think Suga' is just going to be too quick, too explosive and too good a wrestler for Big Nog. Paper covers rock on this one.

This fight does not interest me much, Rashad in my opinion will just fade away in the UFC and a jobber and will never be champion again.
