Matthew Riddle finds new home, signs with Legacy Fighting Championship

Well ladies and gentlemen, it didn’t take very long for Matthew Riddle or even Jon Fitch for that matter to find new homes. Matt Riddle recently had the following announcement to make through his twitter account:

Riddle leaves the UFC with a record of 7-3 with 2 no contests, but if you don’t count marijuana usage as cheating then his more accurate record should be 9-3 which would also see him on a 4-fight win streak. Check back for more information on his first matchup in the organization.

If Matt Riddle was cut for 'smoking pot' with a medical marijuana licence then there are some backward and primitive policy monstors out there.

If Pharmaceutical companies owned the rights and patents to marijuana, civilians would have an alternative option available than having to digest the coctail of drugs with serious side effects that they get from pharmaceutical painkillers and other psycoactive drugs.

Pharmaceutical companies are happy to give school children ritalin which is basically low dose speed. They also sell billions worth of other addictive medications like valium and oxycodone. Yet when a dude like Riddle says that Marijuana helps him, or a cancer patient says that it aids in pain relief without side effects, some backward, corrupt heartless piece of terd denies these individuals the dignity to treat their symptoms.

If its good enough for Joe Rogan to commentate UFC events stoned, then its good enough for Riddle to treat his condition.

I'm not sure if Joe Rogan commentates stoned, In fact I'm pretty sure he was asked and said that he would never do such a thing. And also Ritalin is not a low dose of speed, it's a low dose of a tranquilizer. Speed would give those kids energy, Ritalin calms them down, which is what you want lol.

However I agree with everything else you've said, the world is a screwed up over-censored place.

I bet you everything I own that Jesus smoked weed. I personally don't like it, but I see no reason why it should be illegal. As Joe Rogan once said, "I can take a fork and stab myself in the eye with it, does that mean forks should be illegal?"

        @ Bryan

Jesus smoked weed and you'd bet everything you own it?

As a Christian, I don't know why you would interject Jesus into this conversation, but I can guarantee you Bryan, Jesus did not smoke pot. He also, never smoked crack or did coke or shoved a needle for of heroin in his arm.

I don't know why you have chosen to insult Christians and their God, but you have most certainly done so. Good for you, Sir. You're on a roll. Jesus is dope smoker and Nick Diaz is all those things you called him, on your other post.

        Disappointed, man.

Dude… All I said was that Jesus more than likely smoked marijuana, as everyone else in the world was doing for leisure at the time.

I'm pointing out how flawed everyone's views are on a plant that's been cultivated and used in many ways for generations.

I have no interest in turning this into a religious debate, as religion has no place on these forums, but just realize I was simply trying to state that smoking a plant shouldn't be associated with the negative connotations it's garnered over time.

Tobacco kills 400,000 people per year… There's never been one recorded death from Marijuana usage in recorded human history.

Quoting…"I bet you everything I own that Jesus smoked weed."

Quoting…"All I said was that Jesus more than likely smoked marijuana"

The two statements are incongruous, Bryan, but I won't waste your time with (the obviousness) delineating.

I'm not interested in turning it into a debate about Jesus, Faith or religion. Hence, my point and why I raised the point.

Concordantly, in (the) future, would you please refrain from raising Jesus as an issue or metaphor.

            Respectfully, I thank you.

no offence, but how can you guarantee that Jesus didnt smoke weed. he lived over 2000 years ago… I dont say he did but if he would have, he was only inhaling a plant from his fathers creation. I dont see anything bad with that. God made Weed and its made to be used, why would God have created it otherwise. But we can be pretty sure Jesus didnt use the other syntetic drugs you mentioned. they were invented by man in recent years and not by the Great creator…

I can't guarantee that Christ didn't smoke weed. However, there is also zero evidence that he did or that any indigenous peoples in the area smoked it.

And I agree with you that God made cannabis and if you read the first page of The Book of Genesis, the word Herb is used 3 times.

It's an incredible plant. It has wondrous properties. The plant itself can be used for everything from fuel, to floors. It is a Swiss Army knife of plants. It has more purpose than simply smoking it.

To the point, the last thing Marijuana is, is bad. However, there is no evidence that Jesus ever smoked it or had access to it.

No fight or quarrel, here. I'm just trying to keep the record straight.

It's not a insult to Christians it's a historical fact that the Holy anointing oil that was used in Jesus time main ingredient was Cannabisoil. And the the Hookah has been used in the middle east for about 4000 years, Tobacco wasn't even known to them untill Columbus brought it from the americas. Now what do you think they were smoking out of their hookahs? And still are today.

The word Kineboisin that you often find in the bible means cannabis, and it was regarded as a usefull plant with healing properies; "Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet KINEBOISIN two hundred and fifty shekels."

As a christian you surely know the bible much better than me so it shouldn't be hard for you to find all the cannabis refrences in there, there's a lot of them.

I personally don't belive in the bible, but I believe in science. And science has proved that cannabis use was very common in the area and time that Jesus would have existed. And I don't mean cannabis use as today. It was used as medicine, in holy rituals, to make clothes, rope, building material, you can say it was used everyday and smoking it, eating it or getting your high from it in any other way was just a way of life.

What you can't find in the bible is any thing bad about cannabis or the use of it. No where does the bible say don't use this.

Ritalin is a low dose of speed but it works as a tranquilizer on persons with ADHD. It gives them the ability to focus. On a person without the disorder it would give the same effect as a amfetamine…

@Jrhill….. governments allow medical specialists to perform abortions, allow doctors to perform *** change operations, allow blood transfusions and kidney donor transplants, allow the sale of tobbaco products and alcohol, yet put the brakes on medical marijuana because the pharmaceutical companies don't want billions of dollars wiped off their sales of pain killer medications and other drugs. I'm not a pot smoker but marijuana has medicinal benefits and can give patients more self determination and control over their health and happiness.

      @ Jr.

I didn't attack Bryan. I stood up for My Lord. That is all I did and I did it as a point of order.

If you have any proof or evidence that Christ smoked pot, I'd like you to produce it.

In terms of My Faith, I'll tell you I'm no more than a sinner and no better than any other. I am humbled and nothing, before The Lord.

As to reading The Bible, many do, yet fail to understand it. Reading it or even being able to quote it, is no benchmark or standard for knowing The (Holy) Spirit Of The Word.

In terms of Christ being born into sin, he was not. He was devoid of sin. That's basic Christian Theology. Christ did not cast off or grow out of, sin. He was without it. It is that purity, which allowed / allows Christ to absorb the sins of all and that includes mine, as well as yours.

If you love Christ as you say you do, then I say to you, go in peace, my friend.

hahahahaha you are too funny dude love your humble lightly patronizing tactics I see through them, and I know of true Christians with the glow of Christ running through their soul, seen only by other Christians and you are not one yet. a for the diaz comments I thought them offensive seeing as he is judging a person he doesent personally know, all he said about Christ is he smoked weed and while none of us know that, you went off saying potentially false stuff…thus…

If you have any proof or evidence that Christ didn't smoke pot, I'd like you to produce it.
