Graphic Images: Matt Mitrione Gets His Disgusting Eye Drained
As seen in the Travis Browne – Matt Mitrione fight at UFC Fight Night 81, Mitrione was poked in the right eye twice in two different rounds. Browne was not docked any points for the eye pokes. As a result of the pokes, Mitrione suffered a badly swollen up right eye and wow was it bad. See here:
Browne would go onto win the fight at the event by third-round TKO. Mitrione then had to deal with a nasty eye. So, the big heavyweight went to the doctor to get it drained and by looking at the photos, it looked like it hurt badly.

Mitrione (9-5) is currently on a two-fight losing streak. In his last six bouts, he’s 3-3. This was Mitrione’s last fight on his current UFC deal. Mitrione explained in an interview with Ariel Helwani before the fight that he wants to stay with the UFC, but due to his current deal not paying as much as he likes, he will test the free agency market.
