Full UFC 183 Conference Call With Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva
Anderson Silva recently described his UFC 183 fight against Nick Diaz as ‘one for the fans’, and with the following that both fighters have it would be hard to think that the event would do anything below a million PPV buys. Silva’s back story is that of an injured former champion, and Diaz’s is of a somewhat dejected and disillusioned athlete rolling the dice once again.
When the two meet, it will mark the first time in over a year that ‘The Spider’ has fought in the octagon, but for the Stockton bad boy it will be nearly two years since his last scrap. Diaz got beaten over five rounds by then champion Georges St-Pierre at UFC 158, and fans were nearly giving up on the controversial star ever returning.
