Free Fight Of The Day: Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann

Carlos Condit faced off against Martin Kampmann at UFC fight night, way back in 2009, in a bout which would prove to be quite controversial. Condit was 23-4 heading in to the bout, while Kampmann was 14-2 and had been knocked out by Nate Marquardt just two fights prior.

The Hitman has since gone 4-5 in the promotion, while Condit strung together five wins before suffering back to back losses to Georges St-Pierre and Johny Hendricks. When the two meet again next Wednesday, we will get to see the difference from the first performance. I think Condit has improved 10 fold, and Kampmann’s chin can be sketchy at times.

I expect one hell of an exciting fight whichever way it goes. Check out the first fight below, courtesy of, and stay tuned to Lowkick!

Rogan was biased towards Kampman and I don't see how the judges did not rule 2-1 for Condit. He clearly won the first 2 rounds IMO. Excellent fight but Condit was robbed.
