Donald Cerrone vs. Rafael Dos Anjos Will Serve As Co Main Event At UFC On FS1: Indianapolis

The UFC’s second showing on Fox Sports 1 will take place in Indianapolis on August 28th, the event is set to be headlined by a rematch between Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann. Rafael Dos Anjos 966 left30News has now emerged that Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone will take on Rafael Dos Anjos at Lightweight in the co-main event of the evening.

Cerrone bounced back from a loss against Anthony Pettis with his recent domination of KJ Noons at UFC 160, and will look to extend his streak against the always dangerous Brazilian. Dos Anjos is on a four fight win streak at present, most recently winning a razor tight/controversial decision against Evan Dunham at UFC on FX in May.

Both guys are top 10 material, so this will be a telling match for the future of these Lightweights. With the champion of the division tied up at the moment, this is a great chance to join the title queue with an impressive win.

Dos Anjos is a dangerous grappler, while Cerrone is no slouch on the mat-but definitely the better striker. It will be interesting to see where this scrap takes place.

With the barrage of recent fight announcements, I’m sure there will be more to bring your way soon. Stay tuned to Lowkick!
