Diego Sanchez And Norman Parke Heating Things Up

UFC lightweight’s Diego Sanchez and Norman Park have a clear dislike for one another heading into their clash at UFC 180. But the Irish scrapper and The Ultimate Fighter season 1 winner have heated up their rivalry recently.

In an interview with Submission Radio, “The Nightmare” slammed Parke for saying he was going to kick Sanchez’s head “clean off” and said the Northern Ireland native is going to have a lot of pressure on him when the two eventually fight:

The pressure I feel is on Norman because he’s the only who’s been running his mouth. You know, this guy has the nerve to say that he’s going to kick my (expletive) head off, clean off. Clean off. He should have taken a line out of (Conor) McGregor’s book.

But you know it’s on him. He has to come and try to take my head off. Because as far as I’m concerned, from all the fight footage that I’ve been watching, this guy has pillow punches.”

During the interview, Sanchez also revealed that he plans on mixing things up when the two eventually meet and may even go back to his grappling roots.

Im not concerned with his power at this moment, but at the same time I don’t want to take hits that I don’t have to take. And if I can get this guy down and beat him up, I’m gonna take him down and beat him up, and if I have to fight him standing, I’ll fight him standing.”
