Dana White Teams With Rapper DMX For Epic Anderson Silva Comeback Entrance

Former longtime UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva’s recovery from the brutal broken leg he suffered at last December’s UFC 168 is going so well that his epic return is already being planned (kind of).

“The Spider” has miraculously been seen training in grappling, hitting the pads, throwing leg kicks, and picking up a heavy tire. It’s beginning to look like a foregone conclusion that the legendary Silva will return to the Octagon; it’s just a matter of when.

And when he does, it appears like he will have quite the walkout festivities awaiting him, should he so choose. Speaking at yesterday’s UFC 171 media day, our friend Wade Eck of MMA H.E.A.T. told UFC President Dana White that rapper DMX wanted to walk “The Spider” out to the cage. His response:

“Well, the Anderson Silva fight makes sense. He walks into DMX, that’s his song. Somebody tried to walk in to that song on this card, and I wouldn’t let ‘em cause that’s Anderson’s song. Yeah. I’m in. Sign him up.”

That would be quite the entrance for the all-time great. DMX himself was on hand to express his interest at making it happen, so we’ll just have to wait and see what transpires.

Will Anderson Silva’s return live up to the massive amount of hype it is already garnering?
