Countdown To UFC 168: Rousey vs. Tate II

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18 was undboubtedly the show’s most drama-filled season. That’s saying alot, and all the action was obviously centered on the rivalry between UFC women’s bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey and the woman she originally took the belt from, Miesha Tate.

Rousey ripped the belt (and her arm) from Tate at a March 2012 Strikeforce event, signaling the begin of a massive revolution for women’s MMA spearheaded by the polarizing Rousey. “Rowdy” rode a wave of momentum that no UFC fighter had ever embarked on before.

But then came TUF 18.

Rousey’s fiercely competitive nature shone through on the show, causing her to lose a ton of fans. Many of those fans are now rooting for her enemy Tate in their long-awaited rematch at Saturday’s UFC 168. However, that doesn’t mean that “Cupcake” can figure out how to beat Rousey.

No one has yet, and although she may not be nice, “Rowdy” gets the job done. The time for speculation has almost passed. Check out the UFC’s “Countdown” for Rousey vs. Tate II and have a Merry Christmas!

My question is: If Ronda holds too long to Tates Arm will the Bald Douch cut her like he did to Toco??

Tate said "I don't think she is fully developed." Seriously?

Rousey reminds me of Brock Lesnar. Every thing was perfect until he got smashed by Cain.

I doubt if Rousey has the heart to take a loss against Tate. Tate, on the other hand, has been there and come back to fight her biggest nemesis again.

Rooting for Tate to finish via knock out…

I hope Rousey's training with the Diaz brothers helps her boxing and she wins by knock out just to change things up. However, if she has to rip her arm off again that is ok too.

Must give props to Tate for taking the punishment she did and not tapping. If she gets caught again I hope she taps before it goes that far because she will pay physically with aches and pains for life from that kind of damage. If Tate wins then we can have a trilogy but I don't think that will happen.

Grandslam, she won a bronze in the Olympics and has competed on a world class level since she was a kid so I think she can deal with adversity.
