Countdown to UFC 155: The Baddest Man on the Planet

UFC 155 will take place this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada, headlined by the Heavyweight title scrap between Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.

This will be a rematch from UFC on FOX 1, when JDS knocked out Velasquez to become the UFC Heavyweight champion. Since then, dos Santos has defended his title against Frank Mir, and will be looking to prove once and for all that he’s a better fighter than Cain Velasquez.

More than anything, both fighters are claiming to be not at their best at UFC on FOX. Velasquez released a video of his ACL tear just days before the first fight with JDS, who also mentioned on numerous occasions that he was quite far from being 100% inside the Octagon.

Stay tuned to LowKick.com, as we will provide full UFC 155 pre and post-fight coverage, with interviews, weigh-ins, and press conferences.

Even though it has changed from the original stacked line up, this card remains alone to perhaps have a chance of leaving a final but epic note on MMA in 2012. With so much negatives this really could be the amazing night of fights to take us in to 2013 with our eyes set on the horizon!

For me there is about 4 or maybe 5 fights which could easily headline or co-main on a FX or Fuel TV (soon to be Fox Sports 2) card, not only are they big name match ups they are INSANELY promising in skill level, interest and entertainment.
    They are Lauzon/Miller, Okami/Belcher, Boetsch/Philippou, Pickett/Wineland and Guillard/Varner.
Besides the main event and the big match ups I mentioned, we are spoiled with the most stacked prelims of 2012.

Can you tell I'm hyped for UFC 155???

      @ Keith

Yeah, solid card across the board. I think the fight I'm really interested in the most is Belcher / Okami. I'm a big Belcher fan. I'd like to see him continue the streak and take one more, hopefully final step, to fighting Anderson for the belt. That is, if Anderson decides to grace 185 with his presence this year and Tim has enough twitter followers.
