Countdown To UFC Fight Night 50: ‘Jacare’ Souza vs. Gegard Mousasi
UFC Fight Night 50 is set to go down this Friday night, (September 5, 2014) from the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut, where middleweight contenders Gegard Mousasi and Ronaldo Souza are set to go to battle.
The bout is a rematch of their first clash which was back in 2006, when the two fought for the Dream middleweight championship. Mousasi emerged victorious that night after he knocked out ‘Jacare’ with a brutal up kick as he was trying to jump into “The Dreamcatcher’s” guard.
Nearly eight years have passed since that meeting and both men have gone on to win other world titles but on Friday night they are set to duel it out one more time.
