Cole Miller Calls Out Conor McGregor, European Judges And Fighters

cole millerCole Miller put in a solid grappling performance against the gritty Brit Andy Ogle at UFN 30 last night, and took home a decision victory despite losing round three. Miller was particularly vocal in his post fight, in cage interview with color commentator Joe Rogan. In case you missed it, here is what he said:

‘I don’t know what’s going on with these European judges, messing up my last fight for me. I don’t know what’s going on with these European fighters either; Andy Ogle couldn’t beat me, Ross Pearson couldn’t beat me, Dennis Siver couldn’t and neither could Colin McGruber’

I was just as confused as the rest of you are right now, turns out Colin McGruber is actually Conor McGregor, a man that Miller has taken an inherent disliking to. The outspoken Irish man has had plenty to say in recent times, calling out everyone in the Featherweight division and their mama.

Recent lewd comments about certain female MMA fighters probably didn’t earn McGregor many fans either. That being said, the kid is a very hot prospect right now, for many reasons. First and foremost, he has incredible MMA talent. Secondly he has the backing of the Irish nation, which has UFC brass very interested.

It appears that Miller is interested in a fight with McGregor, but why exactly? Well Miller was once again popping off about McGregor, this time at a post fight presser in Manchester. Once again, Miller had trouble pronouncing CM’s name:

‘I see this guy Colin, McGreg or Conor Mcgr(inaudible speech), yeah Conor McGregor flying around the world, looking all GQ and I’m like ‘hey this is my 15th UFC fight, who are you?’. You couldn’t finish a 21 year old kid and now you’re going to talk about a top 10 fight? Yeah I’m interested in fighting him.’

McGregor has certainly got under Miller’s skin, something that the young prospect is very good at. McGregor’s hype has snowballed since his KO win over Marcus Brimage in his UFC debut, his subsequent decision win over Max Halloway in August was slightly less impressive but will likely earn Notorious a bigger fight on his return.

Currently sidelined by injury, McGregor has plenty of time to line up top level opponents, simply by trashing everyone in interviews. My only question is who should he face on his return? Check out the two aforementioned video’s courtesy of FouetLiane’s youtube channel and Severe Art:
