UFC light-heavyweight Anthony Johnson made his way back to the big show after a six fight win streak between 201-14, and his return bout was an impressive decision victory over Phil Davis. Now eyeing his UFC on Fox 12 opponent Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, a win for ‘Rumble’ would do wonders for his title aspirations.

Never one to let his hands do all the talking, the former welterweight and current 205-pounder Johnson takes to Facebook to send a message to ‘Lil Nog’ and his camp:

Johnson’s stand up has seen him put 11 of 17 to sleep in MMA, and has only ever been stopped with striking because of an eye injury against Kevin Burns. Equally credited for his boxing, Nogueira made his name in Pride FC in Japan, and his thrilling 2005 middleweight bout against Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua.

A four-time medalist in the South American super-heavyweight boxing championships, it is hard to think that Nogueira won’t want to test his skills on the feet against ‘Rumble’, but would that be such a good idea? Boxing skills are one thing, but Johnson has dynamite in every limb, and a slug fest with a guy like that could be a foolhardy choice. What do you think?
