Picked overeem, second imo henderson, ruckhold need to see more of him, he looked solid tho, melendez and diaz the least chance imo.

All 5 are spectecular tho, but the biggest chance is that non of these five will get the belt, it’s the ufc.

Being top 10 and fighting top 20 is different than fighting nr 1 !!!

Mma (ufc) is getting stacked, lot’s of good fights ahead, maybe all the strikeforce fighters get the belt, that would be something !

Hendo already had success in the UFC thats why i picked him, Im not picking anyone else cuz A. Diaz will get wrestle ****ed by a good wrestler not even a great one. B. Melendez has no proof he as good as he thinks he is. C. I dont htink Overeem has the chin because ive seen him get KO’d a couple of times and D.Rockhold have seen him fight once haha

I expected the Diaz fanboys to all be clicking him and get him to the top but loosk like sense prevails. Diaz has always lost to anyone with at least half decent wrestling, and guess what the UFC WW is stacked with….. TOP CLASS wrestlers. I like Diaz as a fighter but I don’t see him subbing someone like Fitch off his back.
I doubt Diaz Could take someone like Condit or Ellenberger standing either.

I picked Melendez, only because I think he is the most well-rounded of the fighters. Great striking, great wrestling, trains with some of the nastiest submission fighters in the world.

Overeem is probably the best heavyweight striker in the world and has a solid ground game, but I’m not sure how he will do against all the high level wrestling of some of the top UFC guys… his fight with Lesnar will answer that question.

Dan Henderson… already lost 2 UFC title fights and is 41. He is one of the greatest fighters of all time, and I’m a huge fan, but I don’t see it happening.

Nick Diaz is another guy whose wrestling skills are questionable. I’m not sure he would beat Koscheck or Fitch, let alone GSP. He would have to pull off a submission, and those guys are so good at defending and maintaining top position.

Luke Rockhold looked impressive against Jacare, but I don’t think he has the experience to win a UFC title at this point… and he’s in Anderson Silva’s division.

Wow you absolutely don’t know a thing (about) MMA… You can’t even upload (an, not a) avatar picture.

It probably makes sense for you to learn how to communicate before you make HUGE assumptions as to why a person hasn’t uploaded (an) avatar picture.

Now be a good boy and go back to school.

    Golden Bib,

I guess you must be a child based on your name??

What does Another One… actually mean? To whom does it have this meaning?

When we add, “Yet a wanna be geek”, the word “yet”, seems to presuppose a contradiction to the symbolic status or value of “another one”.

    Do you understand?

If for instance you are inferring I want to be a geek,
    1. How do you know I am not?
    2. Does having the inability to express oneself, mean that you couldn’t be termed a geek?
    3. What has to be true for you to make inferences about others, who you clearly fail to understand?
    4. What assumptions are you making about your assumptions for them to hold as true? How’s that working for you?

If you had a great life, I seriously doubt you would be posting such non-sensical words.

    Perhaps you need a hug?

Go on, give yourself a hug!

If you don’t hug yourself as I suggest, what have you got against yourself which prevents you from showing kindness?

After hugging yourself, stroke that avatar on the head. It’s another way to show you care about the image you are clearly attempting to create.

    Good luck Golden Bib

i knew jones was going to be the champ when he stomped vera, sometimes you just get feelings about these thigns in the way a person moves you can just tell, and i can just tell hes probably the best athlete in the mma division right now and hes a decorated wrestler with bricks in both hands

Striking is not enough? Cormier is an Olympic Level wrestler and his TDD is pretty solid… haven’t seen his BJJ yet though.

Gil needs to prove himself against top level competition, Overeem does not have the ground game needed to make in the UFC and I would have to see him fight someone like Cain or Dosantos before I grown him the best streiker in the division because he had problems with Verdum or how ever you spell it. Diaz has already been there and will not have any success against guys like Fitch or Koscheck. Henderson is old and head hunts if he would go back to his wrestling he would do ok but still not winning any titles. Rockhold just dont know yet he has looked good in the fights I have seen but the UFC is a whole nother level then what most these guys are used to. I wish them all the best but I dont really see any of them on this list making any real noise. Cormier will do ok but not a title holder.

Diaz will be the most successful SF champion by far after all is said and done. But all of thes guys will probably win gold in the UFC; with the exception of Rockhold; bacause Jardine is about ot take his title.
