UFC Fight Night 22 Results; LowPick winners announced!

Ultimate Fighting Championship are traveling to Texas this Wednesday, to present a promising Fight Night 22 event, aired LIVE on the Spike TV Channel. The event is headlined by a Middleweight showdown between Nate Marquardt and Rousimar Palhares, taking place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.

Welterweight bout: Brian Foster vs. Forrest Petz
Foster defeated Petz via TKO (punches) at 1:07 of round 1.
Welterweight bout: Anthony Waldburger vs. David Mitchell
Waldburger defeated Mitchell via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Middleweight bout: Rich Attonito vs. Rafael Natal
Attonito defeated Natal via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27).
Middleweight bout: Tomasz Drwal vs. Dave Branch
Branch defeated Drwal via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Light Heavyweight bout: Jared Hamman vs. Kyle Kingsbury
Kingsbury defeated Hamman via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
Lightweight bout: Yves Edwards vs. John Gunderson
Edwards defeated Gunderson via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Lightweight bout: Ross Pearson vs. Cole Miller
Miller defeated Pearson via submission (rear naked choke) at 1:49 of round 2.
Lightweight bout: Jim Miller vs. Gleison Tibau

Miller defeated Tibau via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
Catchweight (159lbs) bout: Efrain Escudero vs. Charles Oliveira

Oliveira defeated Escudero via submission (rear naked choke) at 2:25 of round 3.

Middleweight bout: Nate Marquardt vs. Rousimar Palhares
Marquardt defeated Palhares via TKO (Punches) at 3:28 of round 1.

Cranestyle picked Cole Miller via Submission in Round 2, as well as Charles Oliveira via Submission in Round 3, which gave him no less than total of 134 points.     Cole Miller is a scrappy guy and will always show up to fight. I don’t see him going too far in the division at this time though.

    Lots of heart, good jits but overall just isn’t quite there yet.

    yeah cole miller rly suprised me in that fight i see him having a good future and efrain looked awful he definatly underestimated that kid he is good and only 20 wow

    We need more fighters with an attitude like Cole’s. I got all choked up when he said that after the fight, because he is right on the money for the most part. MMA has become so competitive that there is a lot of “point” fighting going on. With the level of competition the way it is now, it is very hard to avoid.

    Unfortuantely winning means everything, no matter how you get it done.

    but i wasnt a fan of miller at all before that fight but WOW hes impressive man i like his new found stand up confidence, and he can back up all his talk about point fighting, this guy finishes fights
