Rampage could be Michael Bisping’s secret weapon agains Silva

Michael Bisping, who is set to fight Wanderlei Silva on Feburary 20th in UFC 110, trains with the former Lightheavy Weight Champion, Rampage Jackson, who has fought Wanderlei three times and could provide valuable information to Bisping in order to win his fight.

Rampage has fought Wanderlei in two different occasions in Pride, losing both of those fights, however, Rampage was able to avenge those loses by knocking out Wanderlei Silva in UFC 92. Currently Rampage is training his friend/training parter Michael Bisping for his upcoming fight against Wanderlei.

“He’s given me a lot of tactical insight, helping out with a lot of situation drills to help me with certain circumstances that he thinks that I might be in the fight, and obviously as somebody as experienced as Rampage being in your corner, you can’t buy that,” Bisping commented. “He’s just fantastic to have in your camp.”

Bisping feels that because Rampage has fought Wanderlei three times, he knows Wanderlei’s style of fighting more than anybody and has helped Bisping work on certain things Bisping needed to work on in order to fight Wanderlei.

Wanderlei Silva vs Michael Bisping is going to take place on feburary 20th in UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia, where Rampage Jackson will be cornering Bisping.

yeah and thats the biggest point why wanderlei doesnt like bisping!! wand hates rampage and for sure his new teammate!!! think we see the old wanderlei fom pride days!!

maybe rampage can give bisping a lot of tactical help???
yeah right …we all know how good rampage is as a corner man ;)))
and rampage kos silva with his agression, power and a beautiful left hook! dont think bisping have the same tools!!!

admire rampage, but he lost 2-0 to the pride wanderlei, how to follow advice to those who always loses to Wanderlei Silva. wanderlei bursts this fight in the first round.

the rampage of now would have done the same to “pride silva” in my opinion. Page said himself he didnt have many sparring partners in those days and he is a totally better fighter now.

Well I do think even with the new improved Silva, Rampage could take him

But I also think that he’s a horrible coach… all he’ll do is say “get up” over and over again

I for one would not want to have rampage in my corner. I am sure he will not act like he did on TUF with his weak motivation speaches, and useless “advice”, but I still doubt he will add anything to Bisping’s game.

Cause we all know Rampage is a good coach and mentor! Seriously Bisping needs to get hos tongue out of his ar*e and focus on his own game plan, he doesn’t have the power to do what Page did to Wand

Totally disagree, I doubt very very much Wanderlei will be like in his Pride days, you saying he suddenly woke up from the Cro Cop head kick after all these years?

Silva’s boxing has never been very technical, he swings from the fences and uses aggression to overwhelm people. Something that hasn’t been a problem for Bisping in the past.

Wanderlei’s main weapon is high knees and if there is any tip Rampage would have to give Bisping its to avoid the knees…

Well Rampage is 1-0 vs Silva in the UFC, and knows how to fight the modern day Silva.

Bisping isn’t even talking any smack talk, now he is just responding to some of the insults Wanderlei has thrown his way, Wanderlei is the one talking to much.

ok the last fights from wanderlei wasnt like in his pride days ,but after i see the weight in, how easy he makes the weight and how focused he is means for me in good shape he is to much for bisping!
his boxing must not be very technical against bisping! hendo isnt the most technical boxer!!! and wanderlei is way more agressive and will overhelm bisping !!!
and rampaage is the last person i would ask about wanderleis knees^^
i am sure he knows nothing about his 2 fight against wand!!! maybe he look the video but i am not really sure^^

Some secret weapon. “If you knock him out that means you win! You should try knocking him out!”. Great corner advice.
