POLL: Do you want to see Brock Lesnar fighting in the UFC again?

Dana White recently admitted that his meeting with Brock Lesnar went “in the worst way possible”, shutting down the “typical internet bullsh*t” over WWE star’s return to the Octagon. Fans are divided in their love and hate relationship with Brock Lesnar, but it’s pretty clear that the former HW champ still has what it takes to deliver great PPV numbers for the UFC. So, do you want to see Brock Lenar fighting in the UFC again? Make your vote!

I’d be okay with Brock the fighter. I don’t care for Brock the personality.

I certainly dont vote to see this guy continue to get over paid. He doesnt deserve what they were paying him before, he certainly doesnt deserve an even higher pay day as we all know Dana would give him for a return. Screw that steroid no necked freak. Go back and put on your drama tights and keep fooling the idiots who watch WWE.
    Im just sick of Brock.

That’s why he clocked Frank Mir and Heath Hearing halfway across the octagon and then KO’d Randy Couture with a punch that landed behind the ear… Right? Because his striking sucks.

Cuz he’s got no power and no speed… Correct?

C’MON… The only thing I’d agree with is that he can’t take a punch, but that’s more mental/psychological than physical. His striking doesn’t “Suck”.

His Striking does suck. He got a lucky punch on Couture, Herring is a can and HE NEVER GOT A CLEAN STRIKE ON MIR STANDING.

Winner? He is comming off of two losses in a row albeit temporally far separated. He should get someone else coming off of a loss. Carwin, Mir, Big Foot… someone like that.

I think we now know what we will get from Brock Lesnar if he returns….

1.arrogance and a hate for the human race.
2.Wrestling a guy to the mat and ground and pounding Frank Mir style
3.or Brock getting smashed against the cage and curling up begging for a stoppage.

We are never going to see a stand up legend emerge….We will see exactly the same as we did before…

I’ve said it before… the guy is one hell of an athlete. You can’t take that away from him. However, until the guy can take some shots to the face without hitting the “turtle” position… he isn’t going to hold the belt again.

Death Clutch is now Turtle Clutch IMO.

Hey, in three years of interviewing up-and-coming fighters at the amateur, semi-pro and pro level; Brock’s name comes up a lot. As either the guy who inspires them the most or the guy they would love to fight the most. I’d like to see him come back as he brings a lot to the table…in terms of new viewers, etc. A rematch with Carwin would be great as would a fight with Nelson.

I believe what is remarkable about Brock Lesnar is that he got past the hands of Carwin, the bjj of Mir, the experience of Couture, yet recently has experienced extremely tough beat downs from Cain and Alistair and he still wants to improve and get back in the ring… Regardless of his present standup inability to defend, move and counter, what would we expect from someone in our club who only had a couple of years stand up training, would it be fair to expect them to do better with the worlds top strikers???

I actually think Brock epitomizes the heart of those of us who train mma, we improve, do well, then get our A#¤ handed to us, go back to the drawing board, consult with our coaches, change various elements ranging from cardio, strength, explosive power, diet… It never ends…

IMO, it is a credit to Brock that so much is expected of him by so many… he has created this situation… he gets paid well, takes care of his family…. and has the desire to improve in the face of a lot of disrespect and dismissal from people who never came close to achieving a win over Randy Couture.

Doesn’t matter if people like him or not, it’s a win / win situation to have him back in action. Either A) We get to see him get his ass kicked some more (who doesn’t want to see that?) or B) He wins fights and makes the HW division more interesting.

Are you really trying to say his striking is good? Really? After seeing Lesnar do his best Magikarp flop and flail impression several times, I think it’s safe to say his striking is below par.

A rematch with carwin or mir wouldn’t Prove anything. A win over brock lesner for kongo or nog would help them skip a fight or two to get in the mix. And personally nogs BJJ ir kongo’s striking would be interesting match up to see if he has still been training.

    Over paid?
He gets PPV buys as high as Fedor fights that are free. I say ufc would be ripping him off if they didn’t pay him what they did.

Why would anybody want to see him fight again? Jesus, im getting sick of all this Brock talk, he’s a WWE wrestler. He sucks at MMA, Think about it, Who would he beat thats worth having him come back? JDC = Horrific loss by KO, Cain Velazquez = Bad Beating [again] Frank Mir might even have a pretty good chance to beat him the 3rd time around. Yeah but him against Nelson, thats about it. He’d be a good gatekeeper but i can guarantee you that wont be something that’ll happen. Plus given all the ass kickings he’s received, he wont want to come back, He’s 5 and 3 people. He beat HEATH HERRING and got a title shot, im sick of this brock talk, all it does is promote WWE

Okay, I can get behind that train of thought. I don’t think Kongo would fare well though. I think he would just get smothered. Big Nog on the other hand is interesting. He definitely has the superior striking but I also think there is an argument for saying he has the better wrestling too. When Brock fought Randy it was clear that Randy was the better wrestler. He was able to reverse or escape every dominant position the MUCH bigger Lesner got on him. When Randy fought Nog he got owned in the wrestling. I honestly don’t think that Lesner has anything to offer Big Nog but it would be interesting to find out and you are correct; beating Lesner would leap frog those guys back into contention.

at first i hated the fact he came into the ufc cos of his lack of skill just great genetics, speed, strength and the double leg but it made interesting fights and there could be a few more yet. i personally think he should of worked his way up instead of just giving him the shot so quick and stylistically couture was great for him.
fights with either kongo, nelson, nog, struve, lavar or a rematch with carwin would be really interesting.
