Jason "Mayhem" Miller: Michael Bisping is the most hated man in America

“I feel great getting the TUF spot. It’s a little early to start the smack talk but I’m going to beat the bangers and mash out of Bisping after my team smashes his team. Now that Osama is dead, Bisping is the most hated man in America. Everybody hates that guy. I wonder what it’s like to actually be hated that much. You would have to put a terrorist attack together to be hated any more than he is (…) It’s going to be fun and it will broaden the horizons for the fringe fans who are just becoming interested in mixed martial arts. My goal is to make this the best season of TUF, the highest rated season and to smash a Brit at the end of it. – For more from Jason Miller on Michael Bisping and TUF 14, visit Heavy.com

It appears Jason “Mayhem” Miller is anxious to kick-off the trash talk ahead of The Ultimate Fighter 14, where he will coach opposite Middleweight contender Michael Bisping. Miller was initially set to return to the octagon for the first time in more than six years against Aaron Simpson at UFC 132, but was assigned the coaching spot when Chael Sonnen‘s suspension left the position vacant.  As the long-standing host of the hit MTV show Bully Beatdown, “Mayhem” knows a thing or two about entertaining and promises to make this season’s TUF the greatest of all time.

The Ultimate Fighter 14 began filming this week and will debut on Spike TV in September.  The Finale was recently confirmed for early December and, in addition to crowning the show’s tournament Champion, Miller and Bisping will go head to head in the card’s main event.

Miller is going to become one of the most popular fighters in the UFC after the shows, and Bisping is going to become even more hated, if thats even possible

If Bisping really is the most hated man in America then Americans must be real dumb. I suspect Miller is just doing his half of the trash talking.

Miller is gonna get a rude awakening. Sure he’s a funny guy and a great fighter … and I’m sure he’s a great coach too. However, Bisping aint no joke, and he has proven he is also a good coach. Miller will have to be 100% focused and on the top of his game to take out Bisping. My opinion, Bisping’s gonna make an example out of him, and win decisively!

Miller vs Sonnen as coaches would of been the highest rated TUF season ever imo

Comparing Bisping to bin landen is just a bit harsh even if just metaphorically – though i see the comedic value, I think that Miller might just get “the most hated man in the UK”

lol its gonna be so funny when Bisping beats Mayhem, if he thinks he go from being so inactive for two years to smashing Bisping, he’s dreaming. I just hope the haters pick Mayhem and improve my multiplier for Bisping in the picks.

i like mayhem as a fighter but bisping has been my fave for a while for 1 reason he is always truth ful and honest even if hurts everyone got mad about the jorge rivera fight but screw them if i were bisping i would have spit in his face after i beat him then pissed on his corner riveras team was disrespectful in everyway towards bisping and his family and if you can’t come in and back up what you say then you deserve whatever you get bisping gonna outwork mayhem even though it will be a good fight i don’t see either one of them finishing the other and bisping gettin the decision

well first off. i like too thank mayham for stepping up ! bisping ! well we all know how much north America hates bisping ! [ not just the USA ] that’s CANADA too and most likely other countries too . and we should not compare osama too bisping . come on that dirty mother ****er is worse off than bisping . yes bisping can be a disrespectful ****head sure . but bisping has been improving in his fights . not much and would he been a respectful champ like gsp or cain ! NO ! i dont think bisping would of got threw SONNEN period . but i guess this fight between miller and bisping well who ever wins will get a title shot ? i hope bisping and miller hurt each other , really i dont care who wins. well i really do think bisping has better stand up , but miller does got a lot of good ground game . any ways the both of them will not make it past silva .

This is just a statement made by Miller to fuel USA v’s GB drama… Respective nationalities take sides and it becomes about us/ them etc…
    - No complaints, the drama is fun and fine…

To get caught up with this as the truth is to say that, Crack dealers, Pimps and Paedophiles are held in higher regard than a fighter/ entertainer.

    Q. Specifically, where did Miller draw the information to arrive at this conclusion?

    This is a nonesense statement.

Bisping’s a ****. Plain and simple. All he’s done is TKO a couple scrubs who aren’t even relevant or in the UFC anymore. I’m disappointed they couldn’t get Sonnen for TUF but it’ll still be a good season I think. Miller’s had trouble with wrestlers, but we’ll see how the fight goes.

maybe i’m just a nice guy too cause I for the life of me cant dislike bones nor bisping. bisping is a competitor, can’t you see it?everybody has that guy in their group of friends who can’t stand losing, and never backs down to anyone. He’s staying true to himself, considering all the flack he’s taking, to have that not break even an iota of his confidence is quite impressive. i’ve never been the guy that dislikes someone for the mere reason that majority are, instead, I take pride in forming my own opinions of the person, and from what i see in bisping doesnt deserve the commercial punishment he’s getting…and tbh i think alot of people are just jumping on the i hate bsiping bandwagon without even assessing his personality themselves. And no, I’m not from UK.

I just hope that the trash talking between Bisping and Miller wont be the focus of the whole show. I want to see the young up and comers do their thing and show what they can do to the Fans of the UFC. I understand that this is a reality TV show and need to show off the drama but the focus should be the action inside the octagon. This is after all The Ultimate Fighter not The Ultimate Trash Talker..

I dislike Bisping for his post-fight behavior and previous behavior dating back to the Hendo vs. Bisping.

And I am glad that I do. MMA needs fighters like Bisping and other characters to add a little drama. If every fighter was like that–I wouldn’t like it, but I am all for some who don’t mind wearing a black hat.

All these characters in MMA add a little zest to the serious business of fighting. Like it or not, trash-talking and drama are a recipe for success in the fight game–for some fighters.

We like our heroes and we like our villains.

I really like both fighters, their personalities and fighting styles but everyone has to see this as Miller’s only chance to win the fight is to get it to the ground, and if he can do that (I doubt he will) he needs to keep it there.
Theres a few factors which really stick out for me in this match, and not just their fighting abilities:
    - This is the second time Bisping has been in this posisition, third time on the show. Bisping will know how to train throughout the show and train while the media masses are around the fighters non stop even after the show.
    - While Miller has been around for a good time in MMA, he hasn’t been under pressure anywhere near to Bisping, I expect Miller to be okayw ith this but you never know. Bisping has been on the Ultimate Fighter twice, fought at UFC 100 and he has fought Silva, Evans and Henderson.
    - Bisping’s wrestling has come a long way as he has worked heavily on it as we can see, I don’t know if Miller will be able to ground this fight.
    - Miller is obviously miles ahead in the BJJ department but don’t think that Bisping is a slouch on the ground. He must be training a lot on BJJ defense for this fight and if he applies his work ethic to this as he has done with his wrestling I’m sure he won’t be as vunerable on the ground as everyone thinks.
    - Bisping’s cardio is insane and he sets a super fast pace most fighters can’t keep up with so I feel the longer this fight goes the less chance of Miller taking Bisping down.
    - Miller has decent stand up and isn’t going to be target practice for Bisping but a huge advantage goes to Bisping, on the feet.

I think Bisping will set an early pace and push Miller on the feet all 3 rounds. I think Miller will struggle to go for takedowns but I don’t see him attempting too many. Bisping will score a couple of takedowns and use a bit of ground and pound. Miller will make at least 1 takedown but will not get much going on the ground and Bisping will be back on his feet quickly.

    Bisping by decision.
