Big Nog Wins Via Submission!
February 19, 2010 at 7:39 pm
Nog for sure
February 19, 2010 at 8:09 pm
If he could go to a decision against Fedor 2 times and against the likes of Cro-cop (in his prime) and Barnett 2 times (to name a few), I say he will not be getting submitted or KO’ed by Velasquez.
If he wasn’t fighting Staph infection, he would have beaten Mir too.

I have to go with Velazquez.. I have a feeling about it
February 19, 2010 at 9:06 pm
Cain wins due to ref stopping him from pounding Nog
February 19, 2010 at 9:16 pm
I’m going for big nog on this one, provided the same nog that turned up for the couture fight turns up tomorrow. submission victory methinks.
February 19, 2010 at 10:18 pm
I don’t think cain is going to win, i think nog is gonna sub cain second round, nog is starting to look like the pride nog
February 19, 2010 at 10:49 pm
big nog it is, one has to hope that old guys still know how to do it…
February 19, 2010 at 11:09 pm

like he dominated rothwell

Most people think Big Nog will submit Cain, But Big Nog also has some great hands. I think Nogueira will probably knock Cain out. Cain always seems to get tagged a few times and if he lets that happen, especially with Nogs Knockout power and fast hands, it will be a short night for Cain.

Though I would normally agree that Nog is looking to be in shape, I will still have to root for Velazquez as seem to be the hungrier fighter between the two…he may be younger but he’s also well versed in striking and wrestling….I am betting the “youth” factor will come in to play if and when the fight goes to 3rd….or the striking in the earlier round…oh well they are both good, but there can only be ONE.
February 20, 2010 at 1:57 am
I go for Nogueira ! but i like cain too ! i wouldnt mind if cain wins.
February 20, 2010 at 1:58 am
Cain will not submit or tko Big Nog. Big Nog has been stopped once by Mir and that was when he wasn’t healthy. There’s a possibilty that Cain can win by decision but I doubt it. He can’t finish Big Nog.
February 20, 2010 at 2:17 am
i agree Cain has the cardio advantage but i say nog is gonna drop Cain with a well placed punch and sub him on the mat like Mir did to Congo,
February 20, 2010 at 2:37 am
Cain is an impressive wrestler. The last place you want to be is on the ground with Big Nog. He is arguably the most durable and skilled MMA heavyweight submission artist ever. Big Nog…submission armbar.
February 20, 2010 at 3:35 am
Think Nog has this one
February 20, 2010 at 3:44 am
winner should get brock
February 20, 2010 at 4:33 am
too close to call …its should be a great fight
February 20, 2010 at 5:02 am
The Vegas line is -125 to +105 predicting Cain to win.
Cain will win.
February 20, 2010 at 6:00 am
big nog by tko in 3rd round

February 20, 2010 at 8:23 am
what “youth factor” are you talking about??!! Noguera is “33″ years old. He’s younger than Fedor and The Spider Silva and only 5 years older than Cain. I bet Nog will be in his best form…It’s not the age factor that will be decisive in this fight. Neither fighter is gonna gas out. Trust me; it’s rather the game plan and its execution which will dictate who will win…
February 20, 2010 at 10:45 am
Seems like a lot of people can’t see beyond their Pride obsession to make a smart pick on this one. Vegas will clean up.
February 21, 2010 at 1:40 am
actually no big nog by submission lol
February 22, 2010 at 9:32 pm
Who? Who won? Thats right!
February 23, 2010 at 1:13 am
Like it or not 33 is old (in this type of sport) – and I do agree that its all about technique but hey Cain is younger and have the experience to prove it….and yes ***SPOILER****Cain did win with his striking power.
