He was just going with the emotions, I don’t think he really meant it

Mir has always gone over the top saying things like, “I am going to rip his arm off.” I’m sure he does it for the hype. He just went a little too far this time. slap his hand, move on.

He’s a child and pretty much an idiot. I noticed a long time ago that he gets overly defensive and tries to belittle detractors as not having a clue ‘cuase they aren’t “warriors” like Frank. His interview with his family recently was an example of his “hey look at me!” attitude- he’s full of himself. This however is just way over the top, even for this immature, self-centered fighter. Not to mention he just blew any credibility he had by criticizing Brock for acting in a way that hurts the sport, all the while acting in a way that hurts the sport.

Suspended? No way. But no one should take this guy seriously ever again.

Why can Frank Mir speak on his “emotions” and say some stuff like that, but when Brock got emotional at the end of their fight at UFC 100 he is a terrible person/fighter/whatever? If we should as fans forgive Frank, why should we not forgive Brock? He should not be suspended, but he should be fined or something.

despite Dana saying he regrets it, there isnt a single hope in hell, that frank in any way regrets saying what he did, and i believe he means every word. kinda mad, i am a mir fan but he does have way too big of a mouth. he should learn a bit of pride and humillity

We’ll Frank has said he speaks what he feels so this is all him. UFC should fine him for saying such horrible, unsportsmanlike things. What an ass.

Now, if Brock Lesnar had made the exact same comments? People wouldn’t be making pathetic excuses and defending it.

A fine would be appropriate. It does a lot of damage for one of the top fighters to be such a moron and call for someone to die inside the octagon.

It’s bad for the sport especially because he is a commentator for WEC. I don’t think he should be suspended for saying something stupid but I do think he should loose his job as a commentator.

Frank’s comments were simply to another fighter, Brocks on the other hand could spell trouble for UFC’s sponsors, big difference man.

well i can’t vote for any of these because i believe he just spoke his mind, and anyways if u listen to the whole talk show you can actually understand that he was just exaggerating rather than reading it where it actually sounds like he wants to kill him, Frank Mir has said before that he hates him as a person, but wishes Lesnar good health so he can be there for his kids.

Didn’t Dana White say pretty much the same thing about Herchel Walker????

Frank Mir = Fighter – well known trash talker
Dana White = Promoter/President of UFC

From which one do you all think where worst comments should NOT be coming from?

I’ve heard so many fighters say they wanna rip the other dudes head off which if you think about it would result in death for whoever there versing dident Dana white just say at the 110 press confrence that he dident tell the fighters what they could and could not say get over it people

I think he meant it and…. so what. He has found his bad guy. Brock drives him to work harder. Brock wooped him and taunted him. I would say this is new for Mir. I would say Mir is going to step it up to the next level to beat Brock. They are fighters not ring girls.
