In truth all 3 belts are truly contested, Shields however is pretty much guarantied to lose his belt in a brutal fashion but I also give the edge to Aoki and Mo is not without a chance. We have never seen Mousasi against a wrestler like Mo and Mo does hit hard so anything can happen even if I think Mousasi is the most likely champion to retain his title.

This is really looking like the card of the year especially after the very mediocre UFC 113.

I have to agree with ya. Especially the brutal beating of Jake haha. I definitely want Aoki to win and Mo has a chance. As for card of the year… yea it probably will be.

Melendez and Shields will both lose. Mousasi will keep his.

If; “use his title” = “lose his title”
Then Jake Shields will get creamed.
It just floors me how Dan Henderson is not in the UFC anymore

When the hell is this thing airing on the West Coast???? The crappy Strikeforce website does not say and the crappy CBS site is not clear. It says it airs at 8pm PT/ET. But then it says it’s live. So if its being broadcast live, it can’t air at the same time on both coasts. According to Ticketmaster, the show starts at 8pm in Nashville which would would put it airing live at 6 PT and 9 ET. Does anyone know? It should not be this hard. Annoying.

From what I can tell, it is airing in in my city (West Coast) at 9pm. Which means it just can’t be live. That would be 11pm in Nashville.

I agree. The only edge I give to Melendez is that Aoki is in the cage for the first time and can’t wear his disco submission pants. And yes, card of the year so far. Strikeforce is really impressing me. 6 months ago I did not give them a chance of competing with UFC but now I am starting to believe that they can.

It might actually start at 7 pm and not be aired in California until 9pm, that lets them even out the time zones here. Im not sure.

update: on the CBS site, they show it starting at 8pm central, it must actually be at 6pm westcoast…so if the westcoast sees it at 8 or 9 pm, it isnt live at all.

Seeing how shields is a WW and, Hendo is a huge MW not to mention Hendo has better striking, and wrestling, more experience, and bigger names on his resume. I have to give shields the least chance of retaining his title which he got by going to a dec against Mayhem, not a dominant performance at all.
