Controversial ex-Bellator welterweight Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver is embroiled in a terrible series of affairs right now. In case you’ve been under a rock for the last month, War left his ex-girlfriend Christy Mack looking like Rocky Balboa after 12-rounds with Apollo Creed in a savage attack on August 8th. Koppenhaver allegedly bit her friends nose and beat him pretty badly too.

The results of Machine’s handy work were graphic and disturbing, and the situation took an odd turn as Dog the Bounty Hunter declared he would catch the fled assailant. As it turned out, police in Simi Valley, CA were able to capture Machine in a motel, and he was extradited arrested and charge for multiple felony charges including attempted murder in Las Vegas, Nevada. Koppenhaver appeared in court today to enter his plea.

Rather unexpectedly, Machine plead not guilty. In the face of the 31 charges that he faces, dating back to late 2013, it would seem that Koppenhaver may be crazier than we first thought. In case I wasn’t being clear, Machine could face life in prison without the possibility of parole for his sins. At the least, he may have had a release date if he had tried to bargain with the courts.
