Ronda Rousey Inks Sponsorship Deal With Carl’s Jr.
Reigning UFC women’s bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey once again put on a breath taking performance this past weekend (August 1, 2015) at UFC 190 in Brazil, starching Brazilian slugger Bethe Correia in just 34-seconds.
Not only has she become one of the UFC’s biggest stars and biggest draws, alongside Irish sensation Conor McGregor, but Rousey has also become one of the sport’s biggest crossover stars regarding sponsorships and multimedia opportunities.
The bantamweight queen has an exclusive deal with Reebok, is an author of a New York Times Best Seller, a growing actress, and it was even recently announced that she will actually star as herself in an upcoming movie based on her autobiography.
It seems as if the “Rowdy” one’s brand just continues to grow as it was made clear today that Rousey has inked yet another sponsorship deal, this time with burger chain, Carl’s Jr.
Eater.com confirmed the news, and Carl’s Jr. also tweeted about the deal:

Of course due to the UFC’s new deal with Reebok, which forces fighters to wear specific Reebok produced uniforms, Rousey won’t be able to advertise Carl’s Jr. at any UFC events or inside of the Octagon on her fight gear or fight banners, but it seems as if she will be appearing in some upcoming commercials representing the business.
As for her fighting future, despite just dispatching another contender, Rousey’s next opponent is already set in stone, as she will meet No. 1-contender Miesha “Cup Cake” Tate for the third time.
Rousey has won both previous meetings by way of arm bar, but Tate has now won four-straight since their last meeting, and has clearly earned another shot at bantamweight gold.
The 135-pound division seems to be shrinking while Rousey continues to grow, and if her dominance continues, the division may be cleared out sooner rather than later. Who could challenge the bantamweight queen, and how do you see Tate fairing in the third bout?
